When watchmaker Georg Dietl Senior founded DIETL in 1909 with a pioneering spirit, he probably had no idea that his workshop in his home in Gauting near Munich would one day grow into a company specializing in the manufacture of precision mechanical parts using state-of-the-art computer-controlled machining technology, which would be used worldwide over a century later.
